It is no secret that I love reading YA, and read often. For those who know me, it is also no secret that I love my CW shows.
So, for this installment of Truthful Tuesday (doesn’t that just sound like a soap opera? Today on Truthful Tuesday . . . no?) I thought I would share my latest reading adventures and clue you in on my favorite television programs, which I watch strictly for research purposes (ahem).
Last week, I read:
– Meg Cabot’s How to Be Popular
– the original Gossip Girl by Cecily von Ziegesar (yes, I am aware that I am behind the curve here but I plan on catching up fast!)
– You Wish by Mandy Hubbard
and
– Forgive My Fins by Tera Lynn Childs (a fellow Houstonian!)

In television news, I heart my overworked DVR for recording the following obsessions:
– 90210
– Gossip Girl
– One Tree Hill
– Hellcats
and
– The Vampire Diaries
I also watch Secret Life of the American Teenager and the occasional Degrassi.
In cool gossip related news, my husband went to school with Ian Somerhalder who plays Damon on The Vampire Diaries. Even though I worked at Entertainment Tonight in NYC for a summer, and met several celebrities myself (including Julia Roberts, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Heidi Klum, Mandy Moore, Vin Diesel, etc;) I am so tickled by this fact that it makes me enjoy the show that much more. Not only am I a dork, but apparently easy to please, ha!
