Friday Edition: Back to School and Favorite Links

Good Morning Blogosphere!

Today is Fancy Friday in our homeschool, which means I need to get out of these jammies soon and get the house ready. Two Fridays a month we host another homeschool family with little girls the same age as our own and we have Tea Parties and learn about Art, Music and Nature.  Today’s snack is BEIGNETS!!  Gotta use my Cajun heritage every now and then 🙂

So today’s post is a quickie.  If you are interested in seeing what we are doing in our homeschool this year, please hop over to today’s post, School Is Back In Session, on my homeschool blog, Keep The Way.

And now for today’s linkage, found from this morning’s Twitter feed:

  • Hop over and check out the rocking cover for The Liar Society by the sisterly writing duo, Lisa and Laura (otherwise known as Li-La)
  • Mary Kole at Kidlit.com has a very interesting post on The Agent’s Role in Today’s Digital Book World.
  • Quick Editing/Grammar Lesson from Edit To Rent on Appositives  (um, yeah, didn’t even know what that term was before reading. Oops!)
  • Make sure to mark your calendars for the next WriteOnCon event!!
  • Jody Hedlund has another great post, this one on Writing and Blogging Consistency
  • Seeing Creative has a SLEW of awesome links!
  • And finally, Gail Carson Levine (author of our homeschool’s current Read Aloud, Ella Enchanted!) has a thought provoking post on making our characters miserable in Making Misery

Have a great weekend everyone!!!
