He he!
Wednesday night I got a lovely email from Brenna over at Ever After Esther, letting me know that she’d added MY SUPER SWEET SIXTEENTH CENTURY to Goodreads! Of course, I immediately broke out in a pretty snazzy happy dance, complete with my famous jazz hands, that Brenna knew anything about my book, much less that she was interested enough to put it on there for me.
Yes, lots and lots of giddy squealing commenced. . .
Anyhoo, since then, I’ve gotten all kinds of official on Goodreads, getting my own Author Page, and adding the hot off the press, straight from my editor’s email, new blurb for the book.
And here it is:
On the precipice of her sixteenth birthday, the last thing lone wolf Cat Crawford wants is an extravagant gala thrown by her bubbly stepmother and well-meaning father. So even though Cat knows the family’s trip to Florence, Italy, is a peace offering, she embraces the magical city and all it offers. But when her curiosity leads her to an unusual gypsy tent, she exits . . . right into Renaissance Firenze.
Thrust into the sixteenth century armed with only a backpack full of contraband future items, Cat joins up with her ancestors, the sweet Alessandra and protective Cipriano, and soon falls for the gorgeous aspiring artist Lorenzo. But when the much-older Niccolo starts sniffing around, Cat realizes that an unwanted birthday party is nothing compared to an unwanted suitor full of creeptastic amore.
Can she find her way back to modern times before her Italian adventure turns into an Italian forever?
(I just LOVE that last line! And yes, I can totally say that, because I didn’t write it. Love love love my editor!)
So, to just put the icing on my already scrumptious cake, I’d be tickled pink if you hopped over there and added it to your “to-read” list. I promise, you’ll be my new favorite 🙂
Have a fantabulous weekend, y’all!
