I LOVE this book! I love that it’s set in my hometown of New Orleans. I love that I get to talk about food and my fun/crazy Cajun ancestry and share it with the world. And I love that in this first book, we have ourselves a hot fireman dad hero, a spunky preteen who acts as a mentor, a Southern family who loves as fiercely as they tease, and a strong, talented chef heroine who finds herself again in the beautiful small (fictional) town of Magnolia Springs.
