It’s My Birthday!!!
Okay, technically it’s my book birthday, but let us never shy away from an excuse to consume birthday cake 🙂
TASTE THE HEAT, my adult romance debut, is finally LIVE!! Advanced copies began going out a couple weeks ago, and I’ve been positively giddy over the response. Giddy and honored and blessed. THANK YOU to everyone who has read it, who is taking part in today’s Launch Event, and to everyone signed up to be a part of the blog tour. Y’all are everything that’s made of awesome and glitter.(*grin*)
The tour kicked off with stops at Between Fantasy & Reality with a lovely review and Fantasy Fairy with a steamy excerpt on Sunday.
In a large pan, melt your butter and then add the first four ingredients. Cook on low heat for about 30-40 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft and translucent. Add flour and stir for around another minute. Add crawfish tails and water and continue to cook on low heat for 15 minutes, add your seasonings and onion tops and then cook for another 5 minutes. Serve over rice. Devour it! Should make about 8 servings
I’ll be back later in the week with more delicious recipes and more fun blog tour stops, so be sure to come back!!
Taste The Heat
A Love & Games Novel #1
Entangled Bliss, Coming July 8, 2013
One sexy fire captain. One Cajun chef. One combustible kitchen…
When chef Colby Robicheaux returned home to New Orleans to save her family restaurant, the last person she expected to reconnect with was her brother’s best friend and her childhood crush. As tempting as a sugar-coated beignet, Jason is one dish she can’t afford to taste. Colby can’t wait to leave the place where her distrust of love and commitment originated and go back to Vegas.
Fire captain Jason Landry isn’t looking for love, either. Disillusioned by his past, he knows he should be focusing on finding the perfect mother for his daughter. But when he first sees Colby, all grown up and gorgeous, he can’t help but be drawn to her. And when she suggests a no-strings-attached fling, Jason can’t say no.
As their relationship grows more intense, Colby finds that Jason isn’t as easy to leave behind as she thought. Could turning up the heat on something real be worth the possibility of getting burned?
