It’s Day Three of Taste the Heat‘s release week! I’m having such a blast, talking with readers, giggling over reviews (like I said yesterday, I tend to get giddy), and commenting on blogs. I appreciate each and every one of you who take the time to read my books, and I truly can’t thank you enough.

Today I have one of my favorite guest posts over at Unforgettable Books…It’s THE TOP FIVE THINGS JASON THINKS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT COLBY. *SPOILER: #4 includes a loofah!* Hopefully this give you a good taste of what these characters are about and a flavor of the book.

And I’m having way too much fun working in food puns today….

ANYHOO, as I’ve been doing I wanted to give you a fun foodie tidbit. Monday and Tuesday it was yummy recipes, but today, I thought I’d focus on something a bit different.

FOOD EMERGENCIES!!
I totally hear this in a loud, booming voice, by the way

How many of us have stopped to cook something and then realized we didn’t have a certain ingredient? And how many of us then decided we’d rather eat cereal then get back in our car and drive to the store??

Now, there’s nothing wrong with cereal. I’m a Fruit Loops girl myself. But for those days when your stomach wants what your stomach wants, here’s a quick list of food substitutions you can use when you’re in a pinch.

Unfortunately, I have more, but this list came from a gift my mother got at a cousin’s bridal shower and I copied it….every other line is so dark I can’t read it. *sad face* I also added a few at the bottom for things I use all the time.
