So, it is the final day of the TASTE THE HEAT Blog Tour. Only two days left to enter the Huge Book-Inspired Giveaway with a signed print copy of the book, a sexy blindfold, box of Cafe Du Monde beignet mix, a copy of the movie No Reservations (Love this movie. Haven’t seen it? Do so now he he), and a real life Fire Fighter cookbook, plus tons of swag.
The tour ends on a FABULOUS, giddy leg-kicking note for me with an excerpt and a 4.5 Star Review that literally had me smiling, laughing…and doing said giddy leg-kicking.
I’m short, my kitchen barstool is high, and it made me happy, okay? (*grin*)
So please, stop over at BOOK BITCHES BLOG and then Harlie’s Books and read the reviews that made me so very happy, and then enter the giveaway! Also, while you’re there, please leave a comment to support the fabulous bloggers who joined the tour. We all love comments!

Before I get into the recap, I just have to say again…thank you.
Thank you for making my adult romance debut such an amazing ride already. Thank you for all the reviews, the emails, the tweets, and the Facebook comments, telling me about how much you love Jason (#JasonIsADemiGod for the win!), how you related to Colby, and how Emma made you laugh. And I’m SO excited you guys love Cane! I must admit, I have a huge Cane crush right now, as I’m finishing his book. Look for that one this October.
Readers and book bloggers make my world go round. There are so many choices out there, so many freaking awesome books, and I’m truly honored that you took the time to read mine. There really isn’t more that I can say, other than thank you. And YOU ROCK!
Now, if this is your first time here, or first time in a while, flip back a few days to enjoy personal stories inspired by the book. This week has been all about crushes. Colby, my chef heroine, had a major crush on her brother’s best friend all her life. After moving away and then returning, she finally gets her chance with the grown up, sexy as all get out, fire captain…only both people have their share of hurts from the past. I’ve shared my very own HEA (and best crush ever) story, my childhood celebrity crushes, my first date/worst date ever story, my very first crush story, and the first crush entry in my diary.
Yeah, pure gold, I tell ya.
Last week I shared TONS of recipes to bring you to New Orleans, and maybe give you some snackage while you read. Highlights include a Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse, two of my favorite Cajun Christmas recipes, a Food Emergency list, a New Orleans Candy recipe, and Crawfish Etouffee.
Whew! Just writing that has me hungry! Looks like it’ll be a cooking day in the old Harris household 😉 Do YOU have any favorite recipes or crush stories to share? I love reading about real life romance!
