austin-trading-cardFive more days.

Five more days and A Tale of Two Centuries will be on bookshelves.

Five more days until the world meets Austin.

Are YOU ready??

“Careful, girl. You’re playing with fire.”

Next week, we’ll talk more about the infuriating bad boy charmer, but this week is all about Alessandra.
Out of all of the characters I’ve written, she holds a special place in my heart. Maybe it’s because hers is so big. Alessandra loves easily and fiercely, and she dreams just as hard, even when the world says she shouldn’t.

So far this week, I’ve shared my dream, and I encouraged you to share yours–while bribing you with gifts to do so (he he).

Today, I thought I’d try something different.

The Flirt Squad, my fabulous street team, has been sharing their dreams with me this week, and today and tomorrow, I’d like to share them with you. Before we get to that, though, a few quick links:

two-centuries-tour

  • YA Romantics reviewed BOTH My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century and A Tale of Two Centuries is one Dual Review, and I totally may have squealed over the post
  • Allarica, a lovely fan, sent in this awesome fan art inspired by My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century, as she eagerly awaits ATOTC release
  • Today’s stop is over at The Irish Banana, where I share my Top 5 Moments in HistoryMoments I’d like to see, you know, just in case Reyna ever stops by.

And now, back to dreams….

The first I wanted to share with you today is from Shelley over at Tsk, Tsk, What to Read. She made a collage about how important music is in her life.

“Singing will always be important to my heart and sanity. And this year I’m finally teaching myself to play guitar. Impromptu jam sessions are the best. And who knows, maybe someone will need an awesome backup singer. Hello, Sarah {McLachlan}???

 Gorgeous, right?

The other I’d like to share with you today came via email from a squad member. This one made my heart so happy to read, and I hope it does the same for you.

Hi Rachel!

My dream has not come true yet considering that I am 16. I really want to open up an orphanage somewhere in the US. I wish I could blink and all the hard work and stuff would be done.

Since I can’t do that, sigh, I am working with children here in my area. I love children and that is my passion. The ideal would be have sections of age groups. Have the older children help with the babies. They would have school at the orphanage. Also the children would have Sunday church services and many different opportunities to go out into the community. I want to be really involved with it. So yea! That is the dream:)

Lots of love,

Hannah LaFavor

PS:  Can not wait for ATOTC to come out

I had to include that PS because I can’t wait either 😉 But see? Don’t these just make you feel inspired??

I know I am

Keep dreaming, y’all!
