Most of y’all know this, but I’m one of the bloggers at YA Bound, and my main job is pulling together everyone’s favorite swoonalicious book moments and compiling our Swoon Thursday post.
But see, while I’m doing that, I always forget to come back over here and share, too. For shame. But today my mama/author brain actually worked and I’m here sharing my personal swoonalicious moment, and then urging you to head over to our group blog for more yumminess.
First, for those of you who don’t know what Swoon Thursday is, a quick intro…..
From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.
Shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag #YABound or post it on the group blog in the comments (you can share them here, too!), or grab the steamy button above and share it on your blog. We want to know!
Today’s title, admittedly, came more from my fellow co-bloggers selections than mine–in mine, Cage York most definitely believes they should–but even in the middle of that moment, thee couple is questioning a big life change.
Whether it’s a life-altering decision, or a choice to take the plunge or remain just friends, to kiss or push away, that question Should They or Shouldn’t They is one of my favorites to be asked in fiction, especially romantic fiction. And my favorite moments are when the answer is YES!!
So here’s the moment that made me swoon this week. What was YOURS?
Sometimes It Lasts
(Side note: finding a snippet that’s approved for all audiences was tricky–*grin*–but loving this book!)Before I could respond his mouth was on mine. His tongue did those magical things that I could feel all over my body with just a simple flick. I held him close to me and kissed him back with every emotion I had in me. His lips moved down my neck as he whispered words against my skin. He loved me. He couldn’t live without me. I was his life.
