Moments that steal our hearts…every good book has them. Actually, every good book has several of them.
Those lines, kisses, acts of service that just take our breath away, and our hearts right along with it. It’s interesting how in isolation, those same moments can be boring or bland. But add the right back story, the perfect setting, the right placement in the story, and BAM! Another reader heart bites the dust.
Y’all, I love me some MMA fighters. I watch Ultimate Fighter with my husband and we get the fights on pay-per-view. Shocking, since I suffer from sympathy pains (he he), but whenever it gets too brutal, I fist my hands into goggles and put them over my eyes, and for whatever reason, it helps.
I never said I wasn’t odd.
So it makes sense that I love reading books about MMA fighters….and this one? *fans self*
Seth Marc is scrumptious. He’s definitely that alpha bad boy, but he also shows his hidden sweet side much earlier in this book than the other fighter books. And the reader gets totally immersed in the world of MMA.
As far as swoonalicious moments? Yeah, this book has them. And I could totally give you a uber steamy scene today, but it’s the sweeter moment below that stole my heart.
Remember, Seth is an arrogant alpha womanizing tough dude, so this is a big moment for him:
