Of all the things I do as part of this author journey, the events and conferences and classes I participate in, my FAVORITE is my street team.
Seriously, hanging out with the people I write my books for is like oxygen. It fuels me, betters me, and inspires me. They are where I go when I want to be real.
My Flirt Squad is so much more than a street team that it feels weird labeling it as such. Truly, I consider these people my friends and their support means everything to me. They are the ones who spread the word about my books. They cheer me on when a deadline is approaching, and they give me advice and suggestions when I get stuck while drafting. They make me laugh when the words simply aren’t coming.
We support each other, celebrating small victories and life events, such as marriages, anniversaries, birthdays, and job promotions. We lift each other up.We swoon over characters. For me, the Flirt Squad isn’t just a street team…it’s a community.
I’m gearing up for two big releases and our group is expanding. If you’ve loved any of my books and/or are interested in introducing them to new readers, we’d love to have you join us. Enthusiastic readers drive this entire industry, and I cannot thank each of you enough.
