This day has been a long time coming.
As many of you know, while The Natural History of Us is completely a stand-alone novel, it’s also a companion to The Fine Art of Pretending. That book released way back in the fall of 2014–my 7th book out of now 9 books published (eep!)–but it was actually the first book I ever wrote. I first fell in love with the characters in this world SIX years ago, so I can’t tell you the joy in brings me to be here today, celebrating them again. Justin and Peyton, and all their crazy friends, have a very, very, very special place in my heart.
Reviews are pouring in already, and I’m just so tickled that readers love this story as much as I do. Second chance love is one of my all-time favorite stories to read and to tell, and the personal growth that Peyton and Justin both go through on their journey inspired me while writing. They challenged me (and each other!) and boy, did they make me swoon!
